We got asked to demolish a small 3 bedroom house in Parkhurst. The client wanted to demolish the house and then use the rubble to build up the platform for his new house. This proved to be a more cost-efficient exercise, saving on rubble removal and using the rubble to generate fill to raise the platform. The house itself was condemned as lateral and vertical cracks ran throughout the building and we had to strip the house with a fair amount of care. Access was very limitied through a narrow gate, which we had to modify to get the TLB in.
